COVID-19 Safety Plan

UAS Summit & Expo COVID-19 Safety Plan

In the interest of protecting the health of our employees, general attendees, military & government personnel and students attending the UAS Summit & Expo, BBI International is implementing certain precautionary measures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, including the following requirements from all visitors attending our event.

Part 1: We request that all visitors review and can say “yes” to the points below at least 48 hours in advance of planned attendance to the UAS Summit & Expo. If you do not meet the guidelines, we ask that you do not enter the event.

Part 2: Currently North Dakota and the City of Grand Forks do not require face coverings at social gatherings. If local requirements still do not mandate otherwise at the time of the event and if you are a fully vaccinated individual, as defined by the CDC, we will not ask you to wear a face covering or socially distance during your attendance at the UAS Summit & Expo. Please review Part II for more details.

  1. I do not currently have a temperature of 100.4° F [38° C] or higher, checked daily.
  2. I am not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms potentially associated with COVID-19: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea; OR, if I am currently experiencing any of the above symptoms, I have consulted with a health care provider, who has confirmed that my symptoms are related to a previously diagnosed chronic illness or condition (such as asthma, allergies, etc.) and are not related to COVID-19.
  3. If I previously experienced any of the above COVID-19 symptoms, tested positive for COVID-19 and/or was advised by a medical professional to get tested for COVID-19, I have met the return-to-work criteria outlined in the Coronavirus FAQs.
  4. During the past 14 days, I have not been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is showing any of the above COVID-19 symptoms (including during the 48-hour period prior to symptoms showing); OR, if I have been in close contact, I meet the CDC criteria for natural or vaccine-derived immunity outlined in the Coronavirus FAQs.
  5. If I have traveled internationally or to any location which, according to current rules in the location in which I work or live, requires self-isolation, I have self-isolated for the required length of time.
If your answer is “no” to any of the above questions, please immediately notify BBI International to determine if other options to attend are available.

If you answered “yes” to all the above questions, you may review Part II of our guidelines.

After you review Part II and you meet the definition of a fully vaccinated person, you are not required to wear a mask at the event.

BBI International requests that CDC-compliant face coverings be worn at the UAS Summit & Expo consistent with applicable CDC guidance and local requirements if you have not been fully vaccinated. BBI International does not prefer face coverings with exhalation valves. BBI International will provide compliant facemasks at the UAS Summit & Expo.

If at the time of the UAS Summit & Expo the state of North Dakota, Grand Forks County, or the City of Grand Forks do not require fully vaccinated individuals to wear face masks or social distance, you may elect not to wear a face covering and/or social distance at the UAS Summit & Expo, provided you meet the CDC definition of a “fully vaccinated” person. The CDC considers people to be “fully vaccinated” for COVID-19 two (2) weeks after they have received (i) the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or (ii) a single-dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. BBI International will rely on your certification and, if not accurate, may preclude your future entrance into the UAS Summit & Expo. If you do not complete Part II, we ask that you wear a face covering and social distance during your visit.

Important Instructions for Attendees
In addition, prior to coming to the UAS Summit & Expo on any day you visit, you should check your temperature and attend only if you can still answer “yes” to each of the points in Part I.

Please note that you may be asked to confirm you took your temperature and/or be subject to temperature monitoring when you enter the UAS Summit & Expo. You will not be permitted entry or be able to stay if your temperature is 100.4° F [38° C] or higher or you decline temperature monitoring.
